It wouldn’t be a Spring wedding in St. Louis without rain and Meredith and Aaron had their fair share! Fortunately, we were lucky enough to have the rain stop right before their April 14th wedding ceremony and the sun came out just in time to take some amazing photos!

Meredith and Aaron live in New York City and hired Dishy to help plan and coordinate their wedding. And let me tell you, it was quite a fun wedding to be a part of! Meredith was able to incorporate her life working in music into the small details of their wedding and the coral and seafoam  colors popped out from every angle! And did I mention the flowers?! AH-MAZING!

My favorite part of the wedding had to be best man speech where he noted that Aaron was following in the Schump family tradition of marrying a woman out of his league – a true testament to a fun loving couple with a tremendous sense of humor! I love my my job!

First off, I think everyone knows how much I adore weddings. But when I have the opportunity to work with good friends, who also happen to work in the wedding industry, my mind us utterly blown. Such was the case with Jon and Jaci Spindler. I can’t even begin to put into words how honored I was that they asked me to help out with their wedding day. Two amazing friends of mine found each other, fell in love, and I got to be there to not only witness it but help pull it all together in the end. WOW. How lucky could I be, right?!?!

Every now and then you come across a laid back couple who’s extremely classy and all around just wonderful people. Fortunately, for me, I was able to work with one such couple, Kate and David, for their September 24th wedding. Through several phone calls and emails (Kate and David live in CA), I was able to help Kate pull together all the final details for her dream day! It was truly an honor and privilege for me! And how adorable are those kids, seriously!?!

It was so hard to pick my faves from the dozens of photos Ben Trevor shared, but I managed!

On May 14, 2011 I was able to work with one of my most favorite couples EVER – Beth and Chris. And now that their love story and wedding has been shared with all of St. Louis via Alive Magazine (woohoo), I can finally take the time to write about them for my blog! Yay!

Chris proposed to Beth on May 14, 2010 and we spent exactly ONE YEAR planning their perfect wedding day. Their wedding had it ALL -  fire breathers, a confetti cannon, a unity painting and one amazing couple. I’m so grateful that Beth and Chris allowed me to be a part of their big day! And photographer extraordinaire, Lisa Hessel caught it all on film!

While I couldn’t share too many photos just yet of the LOVERLY Chris and Beth Susic wedding from this past May (look for it in the next bridal issue of Alive Magazine), I can share a a quick trailer put together by my good buddy Kenny Hammel over at Dreams Renewed!

It was a hot summer day with a 30% chance of rain, and thankfully for Carol and Jason the rain stayed away! It ended up being a beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony and Stephen Seward captured it all on film! I received a few photos from Stephen and I just had to share on the blog! Congratulations again to Carol and Jason, who are now living in their new home in Arkansas!

I first met Carol and Jason in January 2011, a mere 6 months before their wedding date! I was beyond excited when they decided to have me on board to help plan their wedding. From the very beginning, Carol and Jason were so laid back and easy going, traits which I really love!

Fast forward six months to June 11th where friends and family gathered from across the globe (literally since Jason is from Australia) to join the happy couple in the perfect outdoor ceremony! Thanks Mother Nature for cooperating! Afterward, we hopped on buses to Union Station Marriott where Carol, Jason and guests rocked the dance floor all night, including an impressive “hava nagila.” All in all a fabulous day and I’m grateful I could be there to help make it a reality!

Normally this post wouldn’t be up so soon, but because of the amazing work of Kelly Park from Kelly Park Photography, the photos are in and ready to be shared with the blogospehere!

Amy and Monte (the Babingtons) met in college at Mizzou and found themselves in St. Louis not too long after graduation! Several years later, Monte proposed and they moved to NYC just a few weeks ago! So as you can imagine, they’ve been busy! I was fortunate enough to be a very big part of their wedding day and I wouldn’t change it for the world! Congrats to Amy and Monte who are enjoying the newly married life in Costa Rica right now! And now on to some photos!

Every now and then, I come across a couple that really just touches my heart. With amazing spirits and an unfaltering love for one another, Beth Gray and Chris Susic came to me to plan their wedding in 2010 and I happily accepted. It was literally was a wild ride ever since that moment. And their wedding day was so exception! Did I mention Chris attended ALL vendor meetings?!?! And while my amateur photos do the wedding no justice at all (sans fire breathers and confetti), I just had to share a little tidbit from this past weekend!

It’s no big secret that I love weddings. But sometimes it’s really nice to switch things up a bit. On this particular occasion, I was hired by Amber (sister of the mom-to-be Amy) to help plan a baby shower for Baby Henry. We had just a short time frame to work with lots to book, but together Amber and I were able to pull off a super cute baby shower, if I may say so myself!

Since I’m sure you’re all itching to see, I’ll get straight to the pictures! Don’t judge the low quality, I’m no photographer…especially since I forgot the good camera at home!
