Alright, alright, it's been a while since I've posted and well I think this will be worth the wait! Last month, we had the pleasure of working with some fantastic couples and Laura and Dan certainly stuck out as one of my favorites! Not only were they extremely sweet and easy going, but their families were amazing! I don't think I've ever had a father of the bride hug me that many times! :) I can't wait for the next Lange wedding! Lots of love to Laura and Dan!
It wouldn't be a Spring wedding in St. Louis without rain and Meredith and Aaron had their fair share! Fortunately, we were lucky enough to have the rain stop right before their April 14th wedding ceremony and the sun came out just in time to take some amazing photos! Meredith and Aaron live in New York City and hired Dishy to help plan and coordinate their wedding. And let me tell you, it was quite a fun wedding to be a part of! Meredith was able to incorporate her life working in music into the small details of their wedding and the coral and seafoam colors popped out from every angle! And did I mention the flowers?! AH-MAZING! My favorite part of the wedding had to be best man speech…
A new year (yay) brings a SECOND anniversary to Dishy Event Planning! These past couple of years have been nothing short of amazing! Having worked with so many wonderful brides and stellar vendors, I definitely feel blessed! A quick visit to our testimonials page says it all! We have high hopes for 2012 as we step back from some of our extra obligations to put more focus on our clients and weddings this year! We'll also be exploring new advertising outlets and can't wait for The Knot announcement of Best of Weddings 2012! Congratulations to all of the newly engaged couples out there! One of the great things about being an event planner in St. Louis is not only the pleasure of working with some of the best vendors around, but also the cool opportunities that pop up here and there. One such event was The Aries Company's first ever "Lunch, Wine & Design." Eight event planners in total were invited by the oh so wonderful Cheryl Haney to design a table space in their showroom, a design that will remain up for the next three months!
